We once needed to urgently message 100,000 DAO members. We tried our best, but had no idea how many of them got the message. We realised that DAO organisers need a better way to communicate with their members.

This experience led us to design Lighthouse, and our first goal was to tackle verified messaging and guaranteed delivery. It's still possible to be an anonymous and uncontactable member of a DAO, but we've made it much easier for people on both sides of the information pipeline.
